Thank you for clicking on the about me page, easily the most ego-centric page available but apparently it is a necessity. I've decided after having a website that was completely boring and similar to the other 12 000 agents in Vancouver that I would try something innovative. The truth. I want so badly to pretend I was in Cirque de Soleil for years before discovering my calling of Selling people's homes and helping them buy, but I don't think anyone would buy it. So the real story summarized is: Classic bachelor of arts degree from SMU in the beautiful surroundings of Hfx NS. Decided to take a small life interlude to Banff AB for a year (see 10 years later). When that lifestyle had run its course I thought I would test out the left coast before returning to my NS roots. Real estate seemed to be the topic of every conversation in this city, so I went with it and decided to try that out.
16 years later, I have been selling and helping friends/clients purchase their first, second and a few third homes since 2006. I live in Yaletown (my biased favourite neighbourhood) with my son who has been to an inspection or two and receives $2 a showing for being quiet. He doesn't always get paid.... he also rarely accompanies me but when he does 'lucky you!'. Update, he is now 12 and legal to stay home alone. $2 no longer buys silence or even a snack. Growing boys can eat! On a more professional note, see below:
My business has relied on the relationships that have been built while working together along with my honest nature. Vancouver is a diverse city and every neighbourhood has something to offer, depending on the lifestyle you are seeking. A wise man (maybe a wise woman, perhaps it was on a greeting card) once said, Be Yourself, everyone else is taken. I take that approach in life and business. Call, email or text for a chat about your upcoming real estate needs or questions about the process of buying or selling.

When purchasing a home, you are faced with a multitude of decisions. Finding that perfect home is not an easy task, and obtaining a mortgage loan can be a complex and tiring process. Once you've made the commitment to reach that home-purchasing goal, though, the rewards you can achieve are unquestionable.
Assisting you every step of the way, I'll make the process of purchasing a home in Vancouver easier, more enjoyable, less time-consuming, and less expensive than if you undertook this challenge on your own. I'll help you prepare so that sellers perceive you as a preferred buyer, help you locate and assess properties for sale in Vancouver that match your specifications, and guide you through the myriad of details attending the actual purchase.
I have my finger on the pulse of the Vancouver real estate market, and know neighbourhood values inside and out. I will help you determine which properties are fairly-priced and in good condition before you start your search.
Selling your home is one of the most important decisions you will make in your life. Your home is likely your largest asset - this may be the biggest financial move you've ever made, one that requires significant thought and strategy.
Countless questions are unearthed during the process. How much is it really worth? How long will it take to sell in the current Vancouver real estate market? How do you handle buyers making undesirable offers?
It is my job to guide you through this complicated process, from beginning to end. I want you to get the maximum value for your home, within your own time frame.
